About the Market
The Dromana Community Market aims to provide growers, producers and merchants a unique outlet to sell direct to the public while promoting the benefits of fresh and nutritional foods to consumers; and creating an atmosphere in which to appreciate the culture and character of the Mornington Peninsula.
The market will showcase the local flavour of Dromana while offering local residents and visitors a family friendly experience as they purchase fresh produce and sessional produce, locally crafted products as well as a selected variety second hand times when available.
What’s the Dromana Community Market all about?
The Dromana Community Market is a project of the Rotary Club of Dromana that aims to provide local residents and visitors to the Mornington Peninsula with a fabulous experience that promotes and supports local gourmet food producers, fresh produce and local crafts and products.
The market is limited to a maximum of 70 stall holders to ensure that both the public and stall holders enjoy a pleasant experience.
Funds raised by the Market will support Local Community Projects.
Where will you find us?
In the Dromana Community Park behind the Mornington Peninsula Information Centre on Point Nepean Road, Dromana which offers a unique environment to conduct the market.
When are the markets held?
The market is held on the 4th Saturday of each month and future plans will include at least two twilight markets during the summer season.
Who will be attending the market?
The market is open to the general public and a wide cross section of people who want to experience and family friendly environment where good produce, handcrafted products and fresh food is at hand.
